The Night I Forgot You

Synopsis

Nine years ago, Evelyn's younger sister, Clara, disappeared—and Adrian Vale went to prison for her murder. Now acquitted and back in Evelyn's life, Adrian arrives at her father's funeral wearing a ring that belonged to her dead mother. He carries a mysterious key, a final message from her father, and secrets that threaten to unravel everything Evelyn believes about her family. A hidden compartment reveals a photograph suggesting Clara may still be alive. A disturbing recording hints that Evelyn's memories of the night Clara vanished are incomplete. And an old photograph places Evelyn at the center of something far more sinister than she can remember. As anonymous messages expose contradictions in Adrian's story, Evelyn begins to question whether he was her sister's killer, her protector, or her accomplice. But the most dangerous secret isn't what Adrian did to Evelyn. It's what Evelyn might have done—and why the man who lost nine years of his life for her is terrified she might finally remember. Some secrets destroy the people who keep them. Others destroy the people who love them.
